Kids and Teens Education and Formation

We are committed to helping kids and teens grow in their faith through age-appropriate learning, play, and community. Through programs like Godly Play, teen spiritual formation, and seasonal events, young people explore Bible stories, ask big questions, and discover how God’s love is part of their everyday lives—all in a safe, welcoming space where they’re known and valued.

Nursery Care

Our nursery provides a safe, caring, and welcoming space for infants and toddlers during the church service. Staffed by professional caregivers and volunteers, the nursery allows parents to enjoy worship knowing their little ones are well cared for and engaged in age-appropriate play.

Confirmation

Confirmation preparation is a special time in a young person’s faith journey when they are encouraged to ask questions, grow in their relationship with God, and make their walk of faith their own. Through relationships with clergy, confirmation leaders, mentors, and other caring adults, teens grow into a mature relationship with the church. At the end of our 16-month preparation program, teens decide whether to make a formal commitment to follow Jesus and become a full member of the Episcopal Church through the sacrament of Confirmation. The program is appropriate for teens 15 and older.

Godly Play

Godly Play is a creative, Montessori-based approach to children’s faith formation. It invites kids to wonder, explore Bible stories, and discover God's presence through play, storytelling, and quiet reflection.

Teens

Our teens gather together to share faith, fun, friendship. Because of the growing number of teens in the parish, we’re currently redesigning what that looks like - and we invite all teens and parents to be part of that planning! Through discussion and learning, community service, field trips to other faith communities and events, games, conversation and prayer, we create space for connection and opportunities to grow in their journey with God.
