Bud finds deep joy in collaborating with others to explore new creative possibilities for conversation, ministry, and mission. He is passionate about strategic planning and helping communities make the most of their resources to serve with purpose and imagination. Believing that every person brings unique gifts and insights, Bud values the ministry of others and works to strengthen the church’s ability to live into a vision of reconciliation with energy, creativity, and dedication.

Recognizing the importance of strong, evolving leadership, Bud has long been engaged in leadership development and is committed to continually nurturing his own leadership journey.

Bud is married to Annie, and together they have three children and six grandchildren.

His ministry has included serving as a vicar of a mission, a parish rector, and a member of three bishops’ staffs, including that of the Presiding Bishop. In retirement, he continues to offer his gifts as an interim rector and consultant.

Bud is honored to serve as a Priest Associate at St. Andrew’s.
