Spiritual Practice Groups
〰️
Spiritual Practice Groups 〰️
We have a variety of groups that meet every week to: share poetry, pray and work for racial justice, share prayers and hopes for healing, and practice lectio divina (an easy way of learning to pray with scripture) together. Some groups are hybrid (in-person and online) and other groups are completely online and regularly welcome people from across the country.
Monthly Fellowship Groups
〰️
Monthly Fellowship Groups 〰️
Affinity small groups bring together people who share similar interests, life stages, or experiences. These groups offer a welcoming space for meaningful conversation, mutual support, and spiritual growth as we seek to live as God’s people in the world. We offer many small groups and lots of support to start new ones. A few small groups include: LGBTQ+ Christians, Living with Grief, Women, Men, Group Spiritual Direction, Second Half of Life, and more.
Special Studies and Classes
〰️
Special Studies and Classes 〰️
Parish studies are short-term learning series that bring the whole church together to explore the intersection of faith, life, and our world today through online and in-person discussions, book studies, and field trips, as well as sermon series designed to help the whole parish participate in the study both on Sundays and beyond. We offer a welcoming space for learning, reflection, and connection. Check the upcoming events and announcements for current studies or classes.
Whether it’s visiting someone who is homebound, trying out a new prayer practice, making meals, organizing and praying for racial justice, lifting your voice in the choir, praying with others for healing, keeping the church humming behind the scenes - or any number of other possibilities! - there’s a place for you here. Our Community Life Associate, Caz Tod-Pearson, can help you find the best fit for you. Email her to make a time to talk!
