St. David’s Church in Wayne

Join others across our diocese for a special workshop on “Singing the African-American Spirituals with Integrity.” Learn more about the historical context of the music, lift our voices and sing, enjoy listening to the workshop choir, and consider together how those who are not direct descendants of the enslaved people who originated the Spirituals can develop their own authentic connection to the music with respect and integrity. Offered by our diocesan Anti-Racism Commission, the workshop is led by musicians in the diocese who are nationally recognized experts in the field.

This event requires registration on Eventbrite and includes a $20 fee. There are two ways to register:
1.    Email Hayley that you would like to attend, and St. Andrew’s will pay the $20 fee.
